As you know, there are thousands of dogs and cats up for adoption every day, but did you know that rabbits are available for adoption?
The BISSELL Pet Foundation recently partnered with the Luv-N-Bunns Rabbit Rescue of Broomall, Pennsylvania to help rabbits like Chestnut and Dancer. Luv-N-Bunns Rabbit Rescue works to save abandoned rabbits from high kill shelters and hoarding situations. They also educate and raise awareness about pet rabbits.
The BISSELL Pet Foundation awarded a grant of $500 to Luv-N-Bunns Rabit Rescue to support their spay/neuter program. There is an ever-growing population of homeless and unwanted rabbits making spaying and neutering just as important for bunnies as it is for dogs and cats. We are pleased to report that these funds prepared Chestnut and Dancer along with 4 other rabbits for adoption who have all found forever homes.
